About Us

​The future prosperity of our communities depends on the healthy development of all of our young children. Science tells us that the early years really matter because children’s brains are shaped in an environment of relationships. The quality of those relationships has a profound impact on establishing a sturdy foundation for all learning to follow. When we help children build sturdy foundations, we increase their chances for future growth and success. We believe in achieving several development goals on the path to Kindergarten Readiness, including, Socially, Emotionally as well as Academically.

Our Facility

You know the old saying don't judge a book by it's cover? Our facility was the original Post Office in Marysville way back in the day before there was much of anything else in Marysville.  Today Marysville has grown up a lot and the building is now our wonderful Preschool.  We have transformed the inside into a bright, colorful and calming place where children love to learn. You must come inside to really see what we do and we would love to show it to you in person.

Sunshine Preschool & Pre-K starts in September, we do our best to align our schedule with the districts surrounding us. During the school year we will go on several field trips, have the Fire Department come and visit us for Fire Safety week and, most importantly, watch your preschooler grow and learn. By June they will be ready to hit the ground running in Kindergarten.

Kim Anderson

Kim has been married to the Love of her Life for 30 years. Her and her husband have two boys, and she is looking forward to the next phase of life: being a Grandma. Most days you can find her at her home making sourdough bread. She loves Starbucks, Basketball and her puppies. Kim has been teaching preschool for 25 years.

Tracy Mumm

Tracy has been married to her One and Only for 31 years and they have two boys. The Mumm's enjoy crazy adventures and projects, as long as they are spending time together as a family.  She loves her audio books, Backyard Chickens, and going out on dates with her husband.  Tracy has been teaching preschool for 20 years.
